The Roosevelt is the ONLY place to stay in New Orleans during the Christmas Holidays. The decorations in the lobby are jaw droppingly beautiful, and will put even the biggest scrooge into the Christmas Spirit.
Chic Family Travels had the opportunity to stay at the Roosevelt’s Governers’ Suite during our visit this time. The Governor’s Suite otherwise known as a Waldorf Suite, is HUGE! The suite has a living room with sleeper sofa, kitchen area, butler’s pantry, dining area, and separate master bedroom. The little prince, a.k.a. Murray, fit right in at the Roosevelt’s Governer’s Suite dining room.

A trip to the Roosevelt during the Christmas Holiday’s would not be complete without making a reservation for the Teddy Bear Tea! The Roosevelt transforms a ballroom into Santa’s Workshop and does a mighty fine job of it! The kids will be treated like royalty by the Roosevelt Staff with fancy hors d’oeuvres and endless hot choclate. The dessert tower is enough to make any child smile or in this case a cute friend of mine 🙂
There are many character appearances including Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and many more.
The Santa Workshop provides many photo opportunities!
Of course, Santa is at the Teddy Bear Tea as well!
