9 Good Reasons To Stay At The Four Seasons in Orlando

We were recently invited on a media trip to tour the new Four Seasons in Orlando at Disney World.  Since I obviously heart all things luxe, this was a “pinch me” press trip. We actually took a hard hat tour of the Four Seasons in Orlando, because it is still under construction and slated to open in July of 2014.

The Four Seasons never lets us down, even on a hard hat tour. Seriously, the steel-toe boots were even fabulously displayed for us upon arrival. I eagerly put on my hard hat and boots to get a sneak peek at what the Four Seasons has in store for Orlando and Disney World.

Here are my 9 good reasons that you should stay at the Four Seasons in Orlando on your next trip to Disney World:

1- The Four Seasons Is Located On Disney Property With Views Of the Magic Kingdom & Epcot

The Four Seasons in Orlando is located on Disney Property. Disney sold the Four Seasons their plot in the magical kingdom. Thus, the Four Seasons now technically owns the property but it still right where Disney guests want to be.

In fact, the Four Seasons is a mere 5 miles from the Magic Kingdom. I stood on a balcony facing the Magic Kingdom at the Four Seasons, and I am here to tell you that the view of the fireworks show will be amazing!

Also, the Four Seasons will have their own transportation system to all of the parks. What more could you ask for?

2- The Rooms and the Suites are Luxurious and Large

During our hard hat tour, we had the opportunity to view a completed guest room at the Four Seasons in Orlando. The guests rooms are not only of Four Season’s quality, but they are huge! Every guest room also has an additional sleeper sofa, which makes it perfect for a family vacation at Disney World.

Even more impressive, was the bathroom. Now, you know I love a T.V. in the bathroom mirror after my recent stay at the Grand Floridian Villas! I just don’t think that I could suffer through staying at another hotel room without this amenity 🙂

We also had the opportunity to view the space where the Four Seasons Royal Suite will reside. At over 3,000 square feet, it is fit for the Royals! On top of that, the entire floor could be rented for a mere $45,000 a night. If that is out of your budget, the Royal Suite itself is only $10,000 a night.

3- Explorer Island Is Reason Enough Itself To Stay At The Four Seasons in Orlando

The Four Seasons Orlando is upping the ante with family-friendly amenities. Explorer Island includes an 8,000 square foot pool, lazy river, 2 see-through water slides, splash pad that shoots 30 feet in the air in musical synchronization, gaming center, outdoor pool tables, rock climbing wall, beach volleyball, and basketball court. Whew. That was a lot to just type! Imagine experiencing it!

Do you want to tell your kids or do you want me to ? Either way, you will be staying at the Four Seasons next time you go to Orlando after they find out about Explorer Island.

4- The Four Seasons Orlando Will Have A Free Kids Club

Do I really need to elaborate on this point? If you put kids club and free in one sentence, then I am sold.

5- The Four Seasons Will Be One Of the Only Orlando Hotels With An Adult Only Pool

Again, I am thinking that the title pretty much says it all. Did you also notice that I mentioned the “free kids club,” prior to the adult only pool ?Just saying.

6- The Four Seasons Orlando Will Have Golf and Tennis Facilities

With the addition of a 18 hole golf course and 3 Hard Tru tennis courts, the Four Seasons in Orlando offers more than just a Disney World Vacation. Dad can play a round of golf on the Tom Fazio course while mom takes a tennis lesson with the Four Seasons tennis pro and all while the kids are having a blast in the free kids club.

Again, they had me at free kids club.

7- The Four Seasons Will Have Amazing Dining Options

There will be everything from fine dining to pool-side food service. The 17th floor at the Four Seasons will be the home to Capa, a spanish steak house, complete with nightly Magic Kingdom fireworks views. The lobby will be the home to Ravello, an Italian restaurant, on 2 levels and with a open kitchen. There will also be a quick-service type dining option on the main level of the hotel.

A little birdie also told us that the Four Seasons will likely have a character breakfast at one of their dining locations.

8- The Four Seasons Will Be The Only Free-Standing 5 Star Luxury Hotel In Orlando

There are a few other luxury hotels in Orlando, and some of which I have written articles about right here on this blog. What is interesting about the Four Seasons is that it will be the only 5 star hotel in Orlando that is not attached to a convention center. You might be wondering why this is so important.

The Four Seasons will have 444 hotel rooms and 68 suites. Thus, all of the amazing amenities that I have highlighted in this article will be for the sole use of their hotel guests. The other luxury resorts in Orlando share their amenities with people attending conventions at the attached convention centers.

The Four Seasons in Orlando will be an exclusive oasis for their hotel guests only. The exclusivity factor is heightened by the fact that the Four Seasons in Orlando will have over 900 employees. This 2:1 ratio will ensure that the guests are treated with impeccable service.

9- The Room Rates Are Pretty Darn Fair

I know that I  previously mentioned the high price tag of the Royal Suite at the Four Seasons. What I left out, was how fair the room rates will be at the Four Seasons in Orlando. At a starting room rack rate of $545 a night, it is hard to beat for a 5 star luxury hotel at Disney World.

Have you looked at the Disney Deluxe property room rates recently? If so, you will agree with me on this point.

Stay tuned for more information about the Four Seasons in Orlando. We look forward to sharing more pictures and information as this luxury Orlando hotel comes closer to completion!
